Emma is the CEO and founder of Allegory.
She is a strategic communications practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience and has worked at the highest level of government and corporate organisations. She is a hands-on agency leader who recently led the delivery of projects for high-profile organisations including the Open Data Institute, The Open University, and the Web Foundation.
Emma spent ten-years at the heart of UK government where she headed up the Cabinet Office’s strategic communications team.
Emma’s approach is characterised by intellectual rigour and exceptional standards of quality and value that she demands equally of her team. Her networks include industry innovators, media, and policy makers.
Charlotte is Managing Director at Allegory.
She has spent 15 years working in strategic communications consultancy for a range of clients including General Electric, VISA, The Alan Turing Institute and the National Cyber Security Centre.
She previously worked at the Cabinet Office leading cross-Whitehall behaviour change campaigns. These included influencing young people to develop their skills, small businesses to bid for government contracts and the ‘big five’ banks to change policy to fit military life.

Sian is a communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience working in the private sector for a FTSE 250 company and across government.
She has recently developed and implemented communications strategies for Armed Forces Day, International Women’s Day and National Apprenticeship Week.
Throughout her career Sian has also led on strategic and crisis communications during a range of high-profile events.
Sian is adept at working with a wide range of complex stakeholders, across all levels of seniority to build mutually beneficial relationships. During her career she has acted as a strategic advisor to organisations including APCO, the Home Office and Merseyside Police.
