Thwaites Communications is delighted to announce a nine month partnership with The 5% Club to deliver a business-to-business communications programme.
The 5% Club is an employer-led organisation, founded by Leo Quinn, Group Chief Executive of Balfour Beatty, and encourages employers to create as many earn and learn opportunities as possible. Earn and learn placements are skills training opportunities provided by a company for members of their workforce, and can take the form of a formalised apprenticeship, sponsored student and / or graduate training scheme. Members of The 5% Club aspire to reach 5% of their workforce undertaking earn and learn within five years of joining. The 5% Club has over 300 members from across sectors and across the UK, who are all committed to supporting the ethos of embedding earn and learn into their organisation.
Thwaites Communications, a strategic communications consultancy, will raise awareness of The 5% Club amongst businesses, with the ultimate aim being to increase the number of members. The communications programme includes the development of an in-depth strategy for reaching priority audiences in the business, HR, retail, hospitality, finance, construction and defence sectors, followed by the delivery of four ‘media moments’ over the course of 2018.
