A new and engaging brand identity for the Energy Systems Catapult

The brief

We were contracted by the Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) to deliver a communications, marketing, and branding campaign ahead of the company’s HQ and Innovation Centre launch in March 2017.

The ESC needed a fresh and engaging position in the energy industry, that would bring in businesses, manufacturers and academics through the doors of their new HQ.

Our response

Working with the ESC team, we developed a striking visual identity that was rolled out across the new HQ and website. We also developed brand guidelines, style guides, templates and collateral for the ESC team. Including: Brochures for potential clients, case studies, annual reports, exhibition displays, powerpoint slides and social media graphics.

Effective, flexible and with a can-do attitude, the team at Allegory excel in providing the strategy and attention to detail required of a start-up business wanting to grow quickly and establish its reputation.

The outcome

On launch, the ESC received widespread praise for their different positioning. This translated into 120,000+engagements with ESC, including 35 speaking engagements and 20 print articles covering their official launch. Over 2,200 people visited the new ESC headquarters between March and November 2017.
